The “Valle Escondido” of the department of Humahuaca, province of Jujuy, is offered as a tourist destination for the charm of the soil, healthy, quiet environment, for its millenary cultural richness and its agricultural production. It is 18 km east of the city of Humahuaca.

The climate of the region in general is pleasant, in winter the minimum temperatures usually reach -6 ° C, on very cold days, between 6:00 and 9:00 in the morning, but at noon, almost every days are around 15 ° C. In the summer the minimums are around 12 ° C and the maximum 30 ° C. The rains occur only in summer, generally from December to March, and can be anticipated or extended by a few years.

How to get?

From Humahuaca it is accessed by RP 73 (road to Hornocal), once you have reached the Valiazo cemetery, a signposted detour opens to the right that leads to the community of Ocumazo. It is located 16 km from the town of Humahuaca.
