A nice walk of about 8 km (round trip) from Santa Ana to a neighboring hill of just over 3800 m to enjoy spectacular panoramic views. The circuit starts from the town of Santa Ana along the RP 73 to Abra del Valle (3441 m), from where the ascent begins along the path following the edge of the hill. As you ascend, you will have beautiful panoramic views of the Inca Trail and the landscapes of the region. After traveling about a kilometer you have views of Abra de Minas, old stone constructions along the way, and alder forests towards the southern valleys. During the journey you can get to know various medicinal herbs that are still used in the town of Santa Ana. Upon reaching Calvario (3804 m), you can appreciate the majesty of the landscape from the viewpoint to the south. From here you have spectacular views, especially of the towns of Pampichuela, Valle Grande, Calilegua, and San Francisco.
