It is a beautiful walk along the river bank until you reach the El Tornito waterfall that will allow you to enjoy beautiful landscapes. It can be done as a walk or horseback ride for just over 3 km round trip leaving from the town of Valle Colorado. The local Mill is visited, since in the past the milling of grain represented a resource of deep cultural and socioeconomic significance. You follow a path that passes next to the Valle Colorado River, accompanied by the sound of the crystal clear water that descends and reaches the El Tornito waterfall. Here you can enjoy a local herbal tea with a good homemade omelette. Later, a path that passes very close to the hanging bridges built with iron and wood is resumed. Then you go up to a site with a very nice panoramic view of the town.
Visit to the Old Corn Mill:
The main path begins in Belgrano street at the height of the Local Chapel as a point of reference, you visit the local Mill, which was formerly used to grind corn in the area, it worked thanks to a slope that helped the engine to work through of the force of water, this type of mill is no longer used in the area and only remains as a reminder of the old techniques that were used, before electricity reaches the town.
Visit to the hanging bridges in the area:
Once our rest is over, we return along a path that passes very close to some hanging bridges built with iron and wood, these bridges were created by the locals since they allow them to transit and transport food from their positions where they grow vegetables.
